Haring has inspired me so much on my art journey. He broke down the door between the high art world and the commercial art/ pop culture scene, paved the way for street artists, simultaneously kept his “child at heart” spontaneity alive and shared it with the world at every chance he had. The influence of his work especially the line work, permeates culture, and pop culture profoundly, so many illustrators and pop artists styles today are influenced by him, consciously or subconsciously. it’s mind blowing.
